Directors, researchers and advisors from the Instituto Democracia em Xeque participated in the Annual Meeting of the National Association of Postgraduate Programs in Communication – Compós 2024  –, which took place between the 23rd and 26th of July 2024, at the Fluminense Federal University of Rio de Janeiro.

Marcelo Alves, Director of Methodology and Innovation, presented the work “THREE FUNCTIONS OF PROGRAMATIC ADVERTISING INFRASTRUCTURES FOR DISINFORMATION: financing, legitimization and deception”.

The counselor Arthur Ituassu presented the paper “THE POLITICS OF RADICALIZATION: the radical right and digital media in the elections for the Federal Chamber in 2022”, in partnership with Letícia Capone, Director of Research at DX, Vivian Mannheimer e Caroline Pecoraro, researchers at the Institute.
