Week of October 25th to 31th, 2025 This week, the digital socio-environmental debate was balanced compared to the previous week. The thematic axis of COP30 – especially regarding discussions related to climate change – predominated in publications and reach. Despite a drop in mentions compared to the previous week, terms associated with the discussion of the Equatorial Margin continue to mobilize the digital debate, with publications both for and against the license granted by Ibama. The peak recorded in the thematic axis related to deforestation between Thursday (30) and Friday (31) occurred after the release of data from Inpe showing that the Amazon reached the third lowest deforestation rate in history. There were also mentions of Hurricane Melissa that hit Jamaica and criticism from Bill Gates about alleged "alarmism" regarding climate change. 🔗 Read INFORMA 22 ––––––––– 🔎 The INFORMA Weekly Report analyzes the impact of climate and environmental issues in the digital public debate.
