New Electoral Code (PLP 112/2021) – Contributions from SAD organizations

The report with contributions to PLP 112/2021 – the new Electoral Code – is now online, focusing on the rules on electoral propaganda on the internet. The document was published on the Sala Contra a Desinformação website and was prepared with contributions from several civil society organizations, including the DX.

The proposals seek to strengthen the integrity of the electoral process, with recommendations on boosting content, removing misinformation, tracking mass messages, transparency of platforms and oversight by the Electoral Court.
