Nina Santos is a researcher at the National Institute of Science and Technology in Digital Democracy (INCT.DD) and at the Center d'Analyse et de Recherche Interdisciplinaires sur lesmédias (Université Panthéon-Assas), coordinator of *disinformante and director of Aláfia Lab. Seu works focus on the issue of the dissemination of (mis)information on digital platforms and its political impacts.Nina was a visiting researcher at the Center of Advanced Internet Research (CAIS – Germany, 2020) and in the Social Movements in the Global Age group, at the Université de Louvain-la-Neuve (SMAG – Belgium, 2018). His doctoral thesis, defended at the Université Paris II, was awarded the institution's Prix de thèse and nominated for the Prix de la Chancellerie des Universités de Paris. She is the author of “Social media logics: Visibility and mediation in the 2013 Brazilian protests” (Palgrave Macmillan, 2022).
