Mayor Eduardo Paes (PSD) is ahead in engagement on the social network TikTok among the candidates for mayor of Rio de Janeiro, according to a survey by the NuTec Laboratory of PUC-Rio, in collaboration with the Democracy in Check Institute. In a ranking of the ten most viewed videos over the first two weeks of the campaign, Paes has nine viral content pieces. Federal deputy Alexandre Ramagem (PL) has only one. Tarcísio Motta (PSOL) and Marcelo Queiroz (PP) lead in number of posts and followers, respectively, but do not have the reach of their opponents.
