MIDIÁTICUS | Abílio and Lúdio intensify ideological appeal on TikTok in the 2nd round in Cuiabá

A report by Midiaticus-UFMT in partnership with the Democracia em Xeque Institute points to emotional focus and rejection of fake news as the main strategies of candidates on TikTok.

The Research Group on Media, Politics and Democracy at the Federal University of Mato Grosso (Midiáticus-UFMT) and the Democracia em Xeque Institute released, this Friday (25), the fourth report on the use of TikTok by candidates for Mayor of Cuiabá, analyzing the campaigns of Abílio Brunini (PL) and Lúdio Cabral (PT) in the second round. The study, which is part of the project Regional Hubs, takes into account the period from October 7th to 14th.
