The trial that led to the unanimous acceptance of the charges against former President Jair Bolsonaro (PL) in the First Chamber of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) provoked different reactions on social media. If, on the one hand, the Court's decision strengthened the pro-Bolsonaro narrative that the former head of the Executive represents a “martyr of freedom”, on the other hand, profiles aligned with the left praised the actions of the ministers and called on supporters to join a movement against the amnesty of the former president and those involved in the coup attacks of January 8, 2023.
