Partnership between Midiáticus and Instituto Democracia em Xeque monitors Cuiabá candidates on TikTok

The first report, released this Monday (9), shows that candidate Abilio Brunini (PL) stood out with the greatest engagement on the short video social network.

The Media, Politics and Democracy Research Group at UFMT (Midiáticus) has partnered with the Democracy in Check Institute, funded by the Henrich Boll Foundation, to monitor the performance of candidates for Mayor and City Council of Cuiabá on TikTok during this year's elections. Every 15 days, the two groups will release data on the performance of politicians on the short video platform, one of the most used social networks in Brazil.
