Right-wing parliamentarians win battle of engagement on networks regarding operation against Bolsonaro

Supporters of the former president cited persecution and abuses by the STF, while opponents celebrated the progress of the investigation against those close to the former head of the Executive Branch.
Shortly after the start of Operation Tempus Veritatis, launched by the Federal Police (PF), thousands of interactions were recorded on social media. A survey by the Instituto Democracia em Xeque shows that opposition parliamentarians linked to former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) achieved greater engagement on the platforms. The compiled data takes into account publications and interactions carried out between the 8th and 9th of February (until this Friday morning) between 720 profiles on Facebook, 651 on Instagram and 206 on X, formerly Twitter.
