Mayor got more views than his PSOL rival and made three of the five most-watched videos about elections

The video duel between the mayor of São Paulo, Ricardo Nunes (MDB), and deputy Guilherme Boulos (PSOL), his opponent in the municipal election, heated up in the first week of the second round campaign, according to the report “Regional hubs – 2024 municipal elections”, from the group Democracia em Xeque, which analyzed posts on the social network between October 9 and 15.

The main topic of the duel between the two was the blackout, followed by the Band debate on October 14, the first and only one so far in the second round. In total, the mayor made 66 posts and received 1.646.583 views, while his rival, with more publications (73), reached 1.519.506. The mayor also received more comments (10.393 to 6.273) and shares (5.231 to 4.774).
