Progressive profiles dominate Instagram and TikTok, while conservatives gain prominence on YouTube, says the Democracy in Check Institute

The Supreme Federal Court's trial of Jair Bolsonaro has transformed social media into turbulent political battlegrounds—and the digital war, so far, appears to be being won by the former president's opponents. According to the Democracia em Xeque institute, which monitors political discourse online, rhetoric in favor of convicting the defendants for the coup d'état prevailed last week over those advocating for amnesty for the accused.
