Conference in Belém becomes an image test for government and opposition.
The dataset indicates that the week was marked by a simultaneous increase in attention and narrative dispute surrounding COP30. Metrics show that the peak of publications and interactions occurred between November 3rd and 4th, a period in which the Right, Left, and Press increased their presence and mobilization. The Left's presence on Facebook and YouTube, coupled with the Press's presence on Instagram, reflects the effort of institutional communication and the valorization of the environmental agenda as an asset. The Right, on the other hand, concentrated its engagement on YouTube and TikTok, which aligns with critical narratives about the costs, security, and legitimacy of the conference. The progressive camp explored themes of climate leadership and social justice, while journalistic coverage prioritized institutional and infrastructural framing, supporting the global character of the event. During this period, the progressive camp and the media coverage were greater than the Right's attempt to discredit the event.
