Week #11 – August 09-15, 2025 | The volume of information related to the socio-environmental agenda was lower compared to the previous week. The most prominent topics were related to COP30 and Indigenous peoples and territories. Regarding the conference, criticism persisted regarding logistics, such as lack of accommodations, abusive prices, and allegations of corruption in construction projects, in addition to the articulation of opposition governors for a "parallel COP" in Curitiba. Regarding mentions of Indigenous peoples, there was an impact on the approval of a bill authorizing economic activities, including mining, in their territories. A significant volume of posts was also identified for International Day of Indigenous Peoples, celebrated on August 9th.
