This week, the digital socio-environmental debate centered on two themes: the Equatorial Margin and COP30. The theme related to the Equatorial Margin led the week's debate in terms of publication volume and engagement. The announcement of the license granted by Ibama for research in the region on October 20th led to a peak in the topic's repercussions on that date. The license granted on the eve of COP30 led to publications linking the two themes. After the cancellation of the session that would vote on President Lula's vetoes of the Environmental Licensing law, there was a significant drop in the repercussions surrounding the topic.
