This week, there was an increase in the production of content related to the thematic area of indigenous peoples and territories. There was a peak on December 10th, after the Senate approved the PEC (Proposed Constitutional Amendment) on the time frame, with publications both supporting and criticizing the decision.
On social media, posts were also found regarding the approval of the new special environmental law. One of the arguments used is that the provisions violate thirteen articles of the Federal Constitution. Another topic that generated conversation was the appearance of the executive secretary of the Ministry of the Environment, João Paulo Capobianco, before the Senate's Agriculture and Agrarian Reform Committee. On that occasion, he stated that tilapia production would not be interrupted, even if the fish were included on the list of exotic species.
