This analysis examines the repercussion of Portugal's legislative elections on X (formerly Twitter) and YouTube. For this, the analyzes use data collected in the period between March 5th and 11th with the help of Talkwalker for X; and the free API for YouTube, focusing on profiles from Portugal. On X and YouTube, searches were guided by: 1) Elections in general, referring to discussions about the election and its results; 2) Mentions of the three main political forces (Democratic Alliance, Socialist Party and Chega) and their leaders; and 3) Harmful content, based on the themes of fraud and immigration.
